The Master of Education (MEd) at Tulane University is not a means to becoming a teacher. While our curriculum provides a foundational understanding of American pedagogy and learning design, it does not facilitate the in-classroom teaching experience required by most states for certification. However, our program is a strong choice for current instructors seeking to advance their careers without leaving the classroom.
